KT New Jewellery celebrates plants and botanical structures to make beautiful sculptural one of a kind pieces. Each piece is individually handcrafted in a converted orangery /studio. The shapes, colours, texture and forms of the plants that live in the studio provide the inspiration for the collections, The limited edition pieces use precious materials to celebrate the ephemeral fragile and delicate structures in nature. Fine Silver, 22ct yellow gold, sterling silver, 18ct yellow gold, glass enamels and unusual and unique selected Gem stones.

The designs capture the beauty intricacy and simplicity in Nature.

Bespoke commissions form a large part of my practice. I enjoy getting to know my discerning clients and create Jewellery that tells their individual story. There is a joy in connecting people through creating wearable objects that hold deep personal emotions.

In my commitment to sustainable design I am happy to collaborate with you to imaginatively redesign old pieces of unworn jewellery. To reimagine the possibilities and breathe some new life into your piece and create a new treasure and family heirloom.

Prior to relocating to Dundee and establishing the Orangery workshop I was Lead Design Tutor at City and Guilds London Art School and Jewellery Tutor at Morley College whilst running a bespoke jewellery studio and supplying galleries with collections.

I love helping others discover more of their creativity the Orangery Workshop is designed to offer a relaxed, fun and informal class where you will explore a number of techniques to realize a unique jewellery piece that celebrates your Individual style.

The Orangery allows me to grow new plants to inspire the collections and to have a beautiful space to inspire other budding jewellers. Dundee is the city where I started my Jewellery story training at DJCAD Jewellery and metalwork followed by working for Nick Kellett bespoke jewellers in London and then teacher training in FE and HE Education.

To return to Scotland at a time when Dundee is reinventing itself through its wealth of Creativity and UNESCO City of Design status is exciting.
